Totodile is a Totodile, later Croconaw, and Thom Eisenhorth's starter Pokémon, part of the Acrasia Starter Program. Together with "Bossy Bayleef" and Elena they form a sort of starter triangle for Stars of Suocé.

While Totodile does not have a (canon) personal name, in the meta he is sometimes called “Thomdile” in reference to his trainer Thom. The epithet was given by Fledglings author SpitefulMurkrow.

Totodile is generally friendly, outspoken (in Totodile terms, that is — he shows his fangs a lot) and open to physical contact. The lights and ruckus of the urbanized areas strongly get his attention, and he tries to draw Thom to walk around everywhere and enter and check any shop in sight.

Because of this relative hyperactivity, he does not suffer long periods of convalescence well, and is quick to show threatening displays and snap at medical personnel, including Pokécenter Chanseys.
