Not to be confused with Tracer (the human).

Tracer is an Archen in the Mainline PMD world, serving as a recruit in the Idilljrot team that Volyrina created during the timeframe of the Gates to Infinity storyline.

Tracer is skittish (Archen has Defeatist as an Ability) and lacks confidence for his place in the team. He is however sincere in his desire to learn and help.

He has an attraction towards money and “the shiny” that would be more often seen in species such as Murkrow.

Tracer was recruited by the Idilljrot at some point early during their adventure. When not in quests, he was assigned to Volyrina's hut where he would tidy the place up and would help gather and store the various loose currency the team chanced upon.

At some point as the team grows fond of Tracer's desire to help, Emolga and Feremiz give him a large glass jar as a gift, so that he can use it to collect loose coins. Tracer shows to be very thankful for the new addition to his collection. ( Where We Live And Work )

It is presumed that, as Volyrina and Feremiz expand their search for the three-headed dragon that Feremiz sees in his dreams, Tracer would eventually be brought in to aid in the task of paying for new information or for recruits to try and track down Deino dens.

Tracer is named after an Archen recruit of the same name in the Author's Gates to Infinity cartridge. Which is, itself, named after the author of Tracer (the guest character) as he used to use an Archen avatar during the time those Gates to Infinity storyline stories were being drafted.
