Pleo is the sole offspring of the Present Era's current (“Protector”) Lugia. He's a male chick no more than eight or ten years old, though he should be, canonically, younger than Nix. At his young age, he has not developed the abilities and special skills that are natural for a Lugia, let alone those that would brand him a Protector.

It would take several years for Pleo to reach adulthood. Even then, it might be decades or centuries before he has the chance to be ordained as Protector Lugia, taking the place of his father. Were Pleo to become a Protector, he would inherit some specimen-specific abilities which could include his father's specific abilities, including the ability to spawn a Mirage Trio.

Family:

Pleo's father is the Protector Lugia and his mother is a wild Lugia of undetermined origin. While his birthplace is undecided, the most likely location is Navel Rock.
