Feremiz, one of the members of Team Idílljrot and a human in disguise, has been doing chores for several weeks around Post Town in the hopes of making the contacts and getting the resources he needs to find a mysterious three-headed dragon that he sees frequently in his dreams. However, as of late the “plot” has not moved forward and thus the team is forced to go into community service in order to even earn the resources needed to make it to the end of the month.

In this context, a bored Feremiz walks out of the Post Town plaza and into the lower edge of town where a few stores and tents are, and he pays attention to a small store that has always been there but from what he recalls has always been abandoned.

Upon inspecting further he discovers Gamañel, a Foongus tending to the store, who offers him a scary deal: Feremiz is welcome to spend his money there to “change the world” thanks to tapestries that describe maps, or die like “the others” who came before.

In the version of Gates in this continuity, Feremiz is the “player character” with Volyrina being the assistant or partner NPC, and the character who owns the plot of land where the Paradise Town is being built.

The story takes place amidst the plot run of Gates to Infinity, and would be set immediately or soon after Espeon and Umbreon are reunited and they present the Player's team with the Magnagates.
