Shahinne is a female Starly (later Staraptor who is part of Rigel Deris's team previous to “Guild of Rienna” (TBA) . She is the daughter of Roc, though she was raised by her human Trainer after hatching from the egg, and hails from Sinnoh.

Shahinne as a character had another name during the early ideas for Guild of Rienna (ca. 2010), but the documentation pertaining most characters in that original plan were lost. When she was introduced in WAAPT it became necessary to come up with a good name for her; candidate names were subject to vote with WAAPT player memyselfandi being the one who finally gave her her name, both in and out of universe.

Shahinne's hatch day is July 24 (as per WAAPT) and her evolution days are Jan 21 and Jan 22 (as per Pokémon Legends Arceus).
