Colton Kendall Rever, short name Colton, is a male Trainer from Unova and the lead character in Sabres in the Sandstone .

History

In broad strokes, Colton's life in this continuity is not unlike that of his WAAPT counterpart before joining the J-Team, except with some chronological adjustments because the time period between GenⅣ and GenⅤ in this continuity is more compact than in the mainline games continuity.

This version of Colton started his Trainer's Journey at the (presumed) age of 10, with the company of Helmsman by his side. This would have happened about one year before the events of GenⅤ, so right in the middle of the gap from GenⅣ in Suocéverse Chronology.

At some time during the events of Generation Ⅴ, but right before the finale of the Black and White storyline, Colton as well as many other Trainers headed out into the Unova League in order to stop Team Plasma, but they were beaten to it by the heroes of GenⅤ.

Roaming across Unova, Colton accidentally bumped onto Cobalion (Unova) sometime between years 3736 and 3738. The encounter left a sour aftertaste in Colton's mind, and between that and the general situation in Unova with the events of B&W (and later B2&W2), he decided to go on to journey across the world.

Colton's quick world tour to get Unova out of his mind eventually landed him in Suocé at some indeterminate between 3738 and 3740; he is looking out for odd jobs to supplement his stay so he can take some members of his team to meet native mon colonies. In this context he ends up meeting another Cobalion, the one from Cadrícea in a battleground where he is dragged into a fight. ( Sabres in the Sandstone )
