Profile

The “Emperor of the North”, also called sometimes the “Emperor of Flame” is a name given to a figure of myth in Suocé and its localities, mentioned in passing every once in a while by the wild Pokémon living in the northern side of the region. It is rumoured to be an Entei of old age that roams the area, contrasting with the Raikou rumoured to live in the coasts of the neighbour region of Caledoria.

Some wild fire Pokémon, as well as some Trainers, including the wild Growlithe packs Eltenios hails from, have over the years tried to find evidence of such figure and track its whereabouts - or debunk it as an imposter or a case of exaggeration. However, at least Eltenios has said a couple of times to have sighted the fabled figure and followed its tracks, though he has never confirmed an actual encounter with it.

Were the existence of the Emperor of the North confirmed true, the remaining question in the puzzle to complete a Trio would be the existence of a Suicune somewhere in the western part of the continent where the valleys of Caledoria give place to lakes, rumoured to be the “Bright of the Lake”; the three would be part of a Gerbil Trio attached to a suspected Ho-Oh that landed in the area about 400 years before the events of G1.
