Bulbasaur (Tagg)
Bulbasaur (later Venusaur) is Tagg's Starter Pokémon that he received from Prof. Samuel Oak.
History
This section deals with events not yet published in Suocéverse canon (as of the last update of this article).
Bulbasaur served with Tagg since the very beginning and, up until the events of GenⅢ, probably never left the lead of the team. He took part of the missions that led to the Pokefutures reveal with the rest of Tagg's “old guard”, by then including at least Raichu and Roc.
End spoilers.
Sometime before the events of GenⅣ, Venusaur led the team as they took on some vacation time after taking part in a tournament in Emisre. Venusaur and Raichu held off some visitors who interrupted the team's time for enrichment with the purpose of recruiting Roc to their combat wing. ( Asking for Roc ) Venusaur openly disapproved of the interruption and took the first chance at a misunderstanding with the visiting envoys to threaten them to retreat and let the team enjoy their rest.
After the events of GenⅣ, presumably Venusaur spends most of his time back at Prof. Oak's reservoir grounds. Whether his place as the team leader has been passed over to another Pokémon is undetermined.
