Nicolato Mezze is a Pokémon athlete in Mainline Suocéverse, a racer from Suocé known as the primary jockey of Berecien.

By the time of most contemporary stories in Mainline Suocéverse (ca. 3731 PE^{(~2 before Gen1)} , Nicolato is setting up to retire, and Berecien is as well. This is mentioned in Playfield .

During their racing history and up to around yr. 3727, Nicolato and Berecien would have featured regularly in sport magazine covers.

Nicolato has two children: Darius, who would later become the rider of Primor, and Lilian who would later attend an internship at the Río Qinto Gym.
