Suocé is one of the regions of the Mainline World of the Suocéverse, and in terms of development the region that gives the setting its name. It is located in a continent in the southern hemisphere that functions as a narrative stand-in for South America. It connects to the regions of Caledoria to the southwest, Rondovia and one unnamed region to the north, Estracura over the sea to the northeast, and Malvusia over the sea to the south-east.
Suocé is the region where “Stars of Suocé” (TBA) , “Interim” (TBA) , Playfield and other stories take place.

Suocé is part of a continental landmass about 450 km N-to-S and 200 km E-to-W, crossed from East to West by a cordillera near its midsection. Lands south of the cordillera are flatter and more regular than lands to the north, which are coursed with various geological features such as ravines and deserts.
The actual landmass is the result of clashing of two tectonic plates that make contact a few kilometers south of the main cordillera; the lands to the north were before an independent island part of which sunk some time before the Present Era.
Suocé is split into three well-defined regions:
The Northern Region comprises all land to the north of the Asapean Cordillera, and it is for the most part a rough land with various geographical accidents and strict subsections. Features include the Crimsonsands and the La Plancha Mesa.
The Asapean Region comprises the Asapean Cordillera and some lands around it to the east and west. The mountainrange dominates the scenery and there is little urban land use except for some quarries and the notable exception of the Cholcone Belt. The region also extends to the west into the Atura Archipelago, a natural extension of the cordillera into the ocean.
The Southern Region comprises all lands south of the Cordillera and extends into the Cadrícean Widefields and further south, into the arm of land connecting Suocé with its parent region Caledoria. For the most part this region comprises flat lands with a high number of cave openings and sand or clay banks.

The country of Suocé is organized into three levels of Administrative Division: provinces, terruños (roughly equal to Departments), and municipalities / districts. Additionally, there are unique geopolitical subdivisions for defined purposes - such as “Sovereignties” which are primarily inhabited by Pokémon, and “comarcas” which are loosely defined touristic and residential areas.
The capital of the country is Salípolis which is located in the terruño of the same name. Largely speaking, the most important cities and settlements in the region are located in terruños of the same name, the big exception being Cadrícea due to its historical context being built within the borders of the Cadrícean Widefields Sovereignty.

The inhabitants of the region of Suocé are for the most part a combination of two ethnic clusters: first the groups who migrated from the nearby region of Caledoria about 2k years ago, and then the descendants of explorers, pioneers and pirates from the other southern regions who had built temporary settlements into the northern region at various points in history.
The predominant language in Suocé is Caledorian, which is a stand-in for some dialects of Spanish and, like most human languages in the Suocéverse, is Translation Microbes'd for the audience's convenience. Pokéworld analogues of Quéchua and of some local variants of Latin American Spanish also have presence.
The demonym for an inhabitant of the region of Suocé is Suocénse, or sometimes Suocean; in Spanish: suocense or suoceño, note the loss of the graphical accent.
People born in the Cadrícean Sovereignty are called Cadrical (plural Cadricales) and can opt into this form as an added second name. People born in the Atura Archipelago are given the demonym Aturro (♂) / Aturra (♀).
Depending on their origin, people can also be given certain diminutive names or colloquial names: for example salípono/a for people from Salípolis, vijo/a for people from Vys Ocassum, nato/a (note "nato" in Spanish for people from Nates, or cuaque for people from Cuasto.
The Pokémon League runs the regional conference called the Suocéan League, comprising 13 Gyms and a number of official non-Gym installations. Gyms are spread all around the region except for the territories of the La Plancha and Cadrícea Sovereignties. The regional conference tournament associated to the league is called the Asapean Conference Tournament after the name of one of the arms of land to the south, where the original conference arena was located, and it takes place once a year during the month of October except when it clashes with the municipal and governoral election processes, in which case it is moved off to November.
For the structure of the Conference League see Conference League.
