Migration Wheel

The “Migration Wheel” is a multicultural custom held in the world of Nraḟy-zmer since at least 400 years before the timeframe of Owed Return and other concurrent events. The Migration Wheel consists of a synchronized weeks-long procedure by which the inhabitants of most settlements in the nations of Horizontia, Génives and Dunsun migrate and rotate from one nation's settlements to the next, three times across a two-year period.

As such, a given Horizontia tribe might find itself inhabiting eastern Horizontia lands in year +0, then migrate along the southern beaches of the Jasian Sea to the lands of the Génives, then to the north and north-west to Dunsunan settlements, and then, by the beginning of year +2, find itself back at their homelands.

The Wheel was settled on as an agreement between the three parties and has been held despite none of them really liking the deal, as the alternative back in the time was the continent of Genias being left open to invasion by underground and mantle forces led by Vernon's Hearth.
