Imoagaŕ, titled “Imoagaŕ the Arch-breaker” and later “Imoagaŕ the Child Hunter”, is a male Zangoose in the worlds of Nrafhal and one of the planned antagonists of
“Memory Child and the Oftborn” N/A?
. In contemporary Nrafhal storylines, Imoagaŕ is one of the Nobles of Genives, albeit a destitute one, looking for a way to build himself back up. He moves out of the continent of Genias and looks out for potential quests and resources across the World Scars, in particular tamdunO Naparut.
Various years before the contemporary Nrafhy-zmer storylines take place, Imoagaŕ led one small faction among other Noble factions, fighting over access to mineral quarries across the north-western snowlands of Genias. During that time, he and Índolan were known as the “Arch-breakers” after their scorched-earth tactics against the fleet of Horizontia.
For reasons undecided(meta/in-universe), Imoagaŕ tried to betray his faction and steal important drilling machinery from them. His betrayal attempt went wrong and he lost most of his troops and family, as well as access to most of his resources, and was subject to the Genives custom of Elnomós, wherein a Noble is exiled out of the continent and can only retake their title and standing as a Noble if they manage to launch an incursion back into the continent and kill off another Noble to take their troops and resources.
Only a few loyal officers remained with Imoagaŕ as the Zangoose had to make a hasty exit to the southern beaches and find a means to cross the sea to reach tamdunO Naparut. Once there, he and his troops started working to build themselves back up and regain their name, always with the consideration that in order to do so they'd likely have to kill one of the Nobles who had kicked them out, including Índolan.
At some point during his campaign, he lands himself an important boost when he manages to steal from competing Noble Maltha an airship of Ancient Remorian (Western Talimia) craft, however because neither he nor his current staff were capable of operating the airship to its full extent, he decides to go on the hire for scholars and artificers, landing himself a few extra troops including a communications officer and a translator experienced in the (relatively recent in -zmer) technology of magnetowhispery (Radio communication). However, as his troops failed to find and kill Maltha, Imoagaŕ and his troop did not regain their titles and had to remain outside of the Genias continent.
End spoilers.
