The story follows a Celebi, accompanying a team of Luxio and Riolu into a boss battle against a Yveltal. However, in the midst of it Celebi announces she has to leave, as she has scheduled an appointment to watch her favourite TV programme. Thus she materializes a time bubble and leaves Luxio and Riolu to their fate.

The next scene consist of Celebi at a house, presumably of a human who is away on work hours at that time. Celebi watches her programme, which happens to be a telenovela kind of thing about time travellers. The story describes some of the scenes of the episode, which leaves Celebi wanting for more, and thus she schedules weekly appointments to keep watching.

The whole telenovela thing references the first arc of Power Rangers Time Force, which was more or less written with telenovela elements including a “twin romance”-like arc.

The Riolu and Shinx team Celebi was assisting is a reference to how that starter combination is overused in the PMD fandom, and the characters themselves also reference (or might even be versions of) Keller and Sasqūe.
